Flamenco Taster Workshop with Felipe de Algeciras

Would you like to try this dance form for the first time? Join the acclaimed flamenco tutor Felipe de Algeciras for a special Flamenco taster workshop for complete beginners on Sunday April 9th at the Waterside Theatre in L/derry.
The workshop is from 1 - 2pm and costs £10.

Felipe will also be teaching continuing beginner and intermediate workshops. The beginner workshop is from 2-3pm and the intermediate workshop is from 3-5pm. Beginner workshop is £10 and intermediate £20.

Students should ideally wear Flamenco dance shoes or boots if possible. Alternatively, strong Court-type shoes with a small, strong heel of less than 2" for the women and boots for the men.

Is Felipe doing any workshops in Coleraine like last year?

Yes there will be workshops on Saturday at the Riverside theatre. I think there is a beginner class from 12 - 2pm for completely new students and an intermediate class from 2 - 4pm.
The University of Ulster is subsidising these classes so they are giving a special rate to students and anyone who goes to the show on Friday night and the workshops on Saturday will get both for £20. You need to book the workshop through the Riverside theatre box office (02870323232) and tell them that you are doing both to get the special rate.

Also anyone continuing on with Felipe to the Sunday workshops in Derry will get a special reduced combination price of £8.50 per hour. To book for this workshop you need to contact 028 71 350047.
