Felipe de Algecirasis is in constant demand both as a performer and a teacher and has a formidable reputation as one of London's leading Flemenco dancers so we are very lucky that he is returning once again to Belfast for a one day series of Flamenco workshops. These workshops will be held on Sunday, 5th of November in The Crescent Arts Centre, 2-4 University Rd., Belfast.
There will be a beginner class from 1-2pm. No dance or Flamenco experience is needed for this class. Just come along and try it out.
A Flamenco technique class for all will be held from 2-3 pm. This is an essential class for anyone learning Flamenco or for anyone interested in adding some Flamenco passion and drama to their dance style.
For those with 2 years plus Flamenco dance experience, there is a two hour intermediate class from 3 - 5pm.
For all of these classes students should ideally wear Flamenco dance shoes or boots if possible. Alternatively, strong Court-type shoes with a small strong heel of less than 2" for the women & boots for the men.
